The most used is the lateral one in which both the soft profile (face) can be clearly viewed as well as the bone structures. It can be taken with the head in postural position, natural position, etc... It shows the totality of the cranium, soft profile and cervical column.
Used for orthodontic studies (cephalometries), it is also of use in craniocervical studies. |
