The most usual problems are:
Overcrowding.- the teeth do not fit well within the maxillary space.
Cross bite.- when biting, the upper teeth do not fall straight in front of the lower ones as they should.
Overbite.- the crowns of the upper teeth almost completely cover the lower teeth.
Deviation of the midline.- the central line that divides the upper teeth is not aligned with that of the lower ones.
Open bite.- when there is space between the bite surfaces of the upper teeth and the lower teeth.
